LLEAP Awards Announced
The USA based Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Access Platforms (LLEAP) awards, for innovative products introduced between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2011 have been presented by Lift and Access magazine, in advance of this week’s Showcase and Symposium event in Arizona.
Winners included, JLG, Bluelift, Terex Cranes, Hiab, Manitou, Xtreme and
others.
22 products were shortlisted for the finals in five categories and were scored for their innovation, influence, leadership and benefits with a total of 10 products receiving awards. The categories are: Aerial Lifts, Material Handlers, Cranes, OEM Features/Essential Components for OEMs and Support Products and Services.
Platinum Awards
• Terex – Terex Crossover 6000 boom truck (Cranes)
• Eaton - LifeSense hose condition monitoring system (Support Products & Services)
Gold Awards
• JLG - 1500SJ boom lift (Aerial Lifts)
• Xtreme - XR2450 telehandler (Material Handlers)
• OEM -Data Delivery Multi-Pump Fluid Data Tracker (Aftermarket Support Products or Services)
Silver Awards
• Bluelift - BL72 track-mounted spider lift (Aerial Lifts)
• Manitou - MLT 625 telehandler (Material Handlers)
• Cargotec - Hiab XS 622 articulated loader crane (Cranes)
• Firestone -DuraForce MH tyre for telehandlers (OEM Features/Essential Components for OEMs)
• TireSock’s - ForkSocks fork covers (Aftermarket Support Products)
The award decisions were taken by a group of nine judges, expert in the crane, aerial lift, and material-handling fields as well as the six members of the Lift and Access editorial staff.
